Employee recruitment, training and retention is a big investment. When an employee is injured, your investment is at risk!  The expensive results can be:

So the estimated 2023 cost was $168,306,710,000. Preventable deaths from accidents totaled 4,543 people. Fatal work injuries recorded in the United States in 2022, a 20 percent decrease from 5,486 people. Total Workplace Deaths for 2023 \u2013 4543 Private industry employers reported 2.6 million nonfatal workplace injuries and illnesses in 2023, down 8.4 percent from 2022.
